Generate
Renewable power from site-appropriate sources.
Distributed energy infrastructure for the next generation of demand.
01 / The Shift
The grid was built for a different era. Demand is increasing. Infrastructure is constrained. New loads are emerging in places the existing system was not designed to serve.
02 / The Model
GridWeave integrates renewable generation, energy storage and intelligent controls into modular energy nodes. Each node is designed to operate independently and scale into a distributed network.
Renewable power from site-appropriate sources.
Energy available when demand requires it.
Intelligent management of generation, storage and load.
Power directed where it creates the greatest value.
03 / The First Node
150 acres. One first node.
The Baden site is the foundation for GridWeave’s proof of concept: 150 secured acres in Wilmot Township, minutes from Kitchener–Waterloo. It sits at the edge of one of Canada’s densest technology corridors — the region that built BlackBerry and now anchors Google’s largest Canadian engineering office, OpenText and the University of Waterloo — and the capital, talent and industrial demand concentrated around it.
04 / The Platform
The right mix of technology. The right configuration for each location.
Renewable power
Dispatchable energy
Intelligent management
Maximum value
05 / The Opportunity
06 / Capital
Proof of concept. First node.
We are raising $5 million to develop and validate our first operating energy node in Baden, Ontario, at the western edge of the Waterloo technology corridor.
This will fund engineering, generation, storage, interconnection, controls, construction and commissioning.
The first node creates the data and operating model for the next.
Use of funds
| 45–55% | Generation & storage equipment |
| 15–20% | Interconnection & controls |
| 8–12% | Civil works & site preparation |
| 7–10% | Engineering, studies & approvals |
| 10–15% | Contingency & working capital |
07 / The Network
Baden is the starting point. The long-term model is a distributed network of energy assets positioned around strategic demand.
08 / The Founders

Charles Corrigan
Founder · Strategic Lead
Capital & Development
Charles is a Canadian founder-operator who builds asset-backed businesses across infrastructure, applied technology and real-world operations. He has taken companies from formation through growth, and spends as much time on partnerships and investor conversations as on the operational detail that sits behind them.
His earlier work as an innovator drew recognition from Forbes, Inc. Magazine and Yahoo! Finance, and has earned him multiple patents over the past decade. He has lectured at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago on where science, technology and human-centred initiatives meet — a thread that runs through everything he builds.
At GridWeave, Charles owns the development thesis for the Baden campus, the relationships the project depends on, and the work of assembling the specialist team that will carry the first node from concept into operation.

Development & Execution
Dan is a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling and operating businesses. He brings a practical, business-first approach to GridWeave, with deep experience in team building, systems design, strategic relationships and translating complex development concepts into coordinated execution plans.
Throughout his career, Dan has cultivated relationships across the development ecosystem, including developers, landowners, construction partners, project-management teams and manufacturing pathways. His focus on long-term alignment helps ensure that partnerships are commercially sound, operationally sustainable and structured to produce measurable outcomes.
At GridWeave, Dan is responsible for operational planning, development coordination and partner alignment—helping assemble the people, systems and delivery pathways required to move the first energy node from concept through construction and into operation.
